Abstract |
The deteriorated structures ought to be repaired over time to ensure the safety for failure. The capacity of structure is deteriorated to some extent due to the corrosion of steel bars and the neutralization of concrete. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of flexural strength on composite steel beams strengthened with post tensioning method. In order to investigate the data, six test specimens were examined containing the standard and strengthened specimens. The results showed that the increase of post tensioning improves the ultimate load and the yield load. |
