| Abstract |
Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) can be intimately associated with design activity of architects using similar precedent architectural design cases to solve new design problem. In particular, retrieval system of relevant??design cases based on CBR theory could support designers to solve a new design problem in architectural planning phase. This paper describes architectural design case retrieval system using CBR for elementary schools in architectural planning phase. We propose representation method based on FBS (Function, Behaviour, Structure) model for design cases. On the basis of the proposed design representation method, ADR(Architectural Design Case Retrieval System) is proposed and applied for elementary school design in the early of architectural design. |
