Abstract This study is intended to investigate the efficiency of the cold weather concreting method using anti freezing agent and insulation forms through mock up test, and to demonstrate it by real structure test. According to the results, when anti freezing agent is added by 8%, freezing temperature drop, setting time is shortened and compressive strength increases in comparison with normal concrete. In mock up test, temperature history of concrete drops upto -4??and -3??before 24 hours in the case of euro form+normal concrete and euro form+anti freezing agent respectively. On the other hand, temperature of concrete keeps above zero in the case of insulation forms+anti freezing agent, so this case shows the best adiabatic effect. In real structure test, when measuring the temperature history, the lowest temperature of the wall shows 3??and 4?? in the case of normal concrete+euro forms and normal concrete+insulation form respectively. But, in the case of insulation forms+anti freezing agent, it does 6 , so this case is very excellent. That of slab shows the similar tendency to the wall.
