| Abstract |
The goal of this research is to establish the features of hotel lobby space through understanding the space structure and analyzing space configuration with guest and staff area on hotel lobby.??For the analysis of each space we can use the space syntax as a basic words system. This research is limited the subject of study to six special-graded hotels located in Seoul.?? The result analyzed the hotel lobby space shows how to understand the whole space structures.??and it could be arranged the space area character and type. In conclusion, it is composed by the character and type of the space area, the double structure of the lobby space and the connection of the space area as three statements. The first, the hotel lobby space is divided by the circulation part and the main space part which consists of the parts for the guests and staff besides it has a double equipment as a middle area among public, private and service areas.??The second, the character of the space's each area is summarized the double structure of the lobby space. The third, the connection of the space area to users set in for staff to access easily. |
