Abstract Daylight in building is used in different conditions such as special regional time, date and sky conditions. Daylight is not only superior to artificial light in efficiency, but provides comfort surrounding for residents by naturally changing interior illuminance. As a factor of the discomfort senses of sight, Daylight induced to interior space created discomfort glare,??and daylight exposed long time may bring about poor eyesight. In developed country, parameters of discomfort glare, discomfort sensations were analyzed by evaluation experiments and the evaluated equations of discomfort glare were proposed. However, the basic experiment and the parameters were not adequate enough and all of the subjects were the European, so it is possible that there are errors in this equations of discomfort glare. The study of the errors about DGI equation has been examined by the sensitivity analysis, but the value of the errors has not been analyzed by numerical analysis.Therefore, the aim of this study is to present the adjusted basic data and to make up for the weak point of the DGI equation.
