Abstract In order to improve construction project management capacity, a few elements such as capacity of management personnel, systemization of management process, and PMIS as a supporter of the other two elements should be considered importantly. Among those elements, PMIS and the success factors of PMIS implementation were discussed in this study. The main purpose of this study was to identify the success factors especially focused on construction management tasks' characteristics that will probably ensure the successful implementation of construction project management information system. The success of PMIS was conceptualized based on Technology Acceptance Model and the factors influencing the success of PMIS were modeled and validated. Data were collected through questionnaires, correlation analysis were carried out to find relevant factors, and again regression analysis were conducted to validate the suggested construction PMIS success model. Through the model, the following factors were revealed as construction PMIS success factors; Degree of process structurization, Degree of Process Contribution, Degree of information utilization, Degree of easiness of information input, Degree of
