| Abstract |
Recently, the unit cost estimation system which uses previous bid costs of work items has been adopted as a new way to estimate and predict direct costs of public building construction projects in Korea. However, the new estimating system is not considering the direct labour costs eparately. Therfore, the existing indirect labour cost estimating standard, which is based on the proportion of indirect labour cost to direct labour cost, issued by the Korea government in 1989, is facing a major change. This study presents new estimating methods for indirect labour cost using regression analysis. In addition, this study also presents the proportion of direct labour cost to direct cost to apply the existing indirect labour cost estimating standard. |
