A Study on Characteristics of the Residental Movement in Jeju |

| Abstract |
Purpose of study is to analyze characters of households who moved by problems of job, housing or child's education and so on in Jeju. It is guessed that factors of moving will be different with other regional situation.??It was analyzed with law data special research of population movement researched in 1997 by Korea National Statistic Office. Law data is consisted with 4,057persons (1,323 householders) and regarding to sex, housing type, tenure type, moving factors and so on. This study focused on statistical analysis based on householders. Result of analysis is as following. In case of 20-30age, residential moving were occurred by job factor. The other side, in case of 40ages and over, residential moving were occurred mostly by housing factor. And job and education factor were no related mutually. In future, group of 30age and 40age tends to wish to move from monthly rent housing to rent housing(which is better than monthly rent housing) or move form rent housing to owned housing. The other side, group which don't want to move were mostly group of 50age and 60 age. It is Character of residential moving in Jeju that were family factor and housing factor. Geographical and spatial characters of Jeju which is island seemed be reflected. And finally, housing supply policy for each age group's needs and land use policy for housing, cooperation network were suggested for balance development in Jeju. |
