Abstract Recently, modified sulfur cement was developed by SK corporation in Korea to use it as a binding agent with aggreagte. In this paper, sulfur concrete was manufactured and tested under the basis of sulfur mortar test results.??Test parameters were aggreagte sulfur cement ratio, addition contents of flyash and sand aggreagate ratio. Compressive strength and slump of sulfur concrete were tested.??Test results showed that the workability of sulfur concrete decreased when the ratio of aggreagte to sulfur was over 2 and addition content of flyash increased and the compressive strength at 28 days were 550~750 ㎏/㎠. The optimum mixture proportion of sulfur concrete was obtained when the content of sulfur binder was 350 ~450㎏/㎥ and content of flyash as filler was 25~43% by weight of sulfur binder. In this paper, mixture design guide and methods of sulfur concrete were also proposed.
