| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze organization structure of design firm based on project delivery system. Organization structures in design firms can be classified as project team structure, studio structure, departmental structure and matrix structure according to project type, firm size, and technology and value of a firm. A systematic approach in choosing organization structure is important in that it has strong relationship with marketing, human resources, financial and other issues of business aspect of a firm. An organization structure which should be recognized as a organ body can be changed by the life cycle of the firm as well as market changes. Value and technology of the firm shape the organization because they show firm's identity and future direction. |
