Abstract |
Recently, RCS composite structural systems have been studied and developed actively due to its structural advantages of combining different materials.??The objective of this paper is to develop the RCS beam-column joints which can improve constructibility and structural performance compared to existing RCS joints, and analyze the structural behavior of the proposed RCS systems with web-penetrated joints which are reinforced with steel fiber.?? In this study, seven RCS joint specimens were??tested under the cyclic loading conforming to NEHRP recommendations. The results showed that RCS joints with penetrated web in panel zone decreased considerably in strength and energy dissipation capacity compared to those of existing joints but can improve the performance by adding steel fiber in panel zone of the joints. |
