Abstract The purpose of architcetural education is to train students as experts of professional practice. But, graduates rarely get positive appraisal in the field of architectural practice regarding their capability of professional practice. Besides this situation, accreditation system for architectural education is to be introduced in the near future, which requires education of professional practice capability to a considerably high degree. In this context, this study aims to seek effective educational method for enhancing professional practice capability in architectural design education. In this study, educational themes are categorized as follows; - Integrating the knowledges of diverse fields such as structural system, mechanical system, electrical system and technologies of civil engineering. - Making drawings and documents of professional practice. - Understanding overall procedure of project accomplishment. Educational objects of each category are established according to the student performance criteria, which forms a core part of accreditation standards made by FIKA. As a conclusion, educational contents which satisfy the established objects are presented in detail.
