| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the organization structure of large design firm in Korea based on project delivery system and design firm type. Architectural design firm types were studied to make criteria. More specific issues are studied through the result of questionnaires of design firms within top 20. As a result, most large design firms in Korea were classified to strong service firms centered on business. They usually use matrix system in delivering project within design department divided into specialized field. Productivity and human resources would be main reasons that bring the reformation of present organization structure. |
