In doing so, it analyses the area ratio of each functional space in order to find out the distributional features in overall spatial layout and at the same time the characteristics of the spatial configuration in order to understand the relationship between functional spaces. As the result of the study, it has found that most of the commercial art galleries tend to concentrate on their commercial aspects rather than cultural aspects in spite of their cultural significance in Korea. The study suggests that although they are commercial in their nature they need to be take some cultural characteristics in terms of spatial configuration in order to contribute to our society. |
