| Abstract |
Gaeksa means one of most important institution in provincial government during Jo-seon dynasty. It was also one of major landmarks of old city. Under the Japanese colonialism, however, most of Gaeksa have been destroyed. Very few are preserved with the original forms except partly remained or reconstruction. Fortunately Ulsan Gaeksa remains lots of photos with which can be presumed the original form. Based on these photos, this research tried to find out the architectural features of Gaeksa. |
