| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to develop the lighting unit for workspace and to propose its application method at the architectural design stage. The lighting units is one of the components of workspace integrated units, which can be defined as the planning units satisfying the environmental comfort criteria of workspace. Based on the survey of current domestic and foreign office buildings, the luminaire arranging types could be classified into the Line, Spot and Square type. Various simulation cases were set up considering these arranging types, architectural modules, and luminaire types. Finally, forty-four lighting units were developed by RADIANCE simulation. With the Lighting Unit, the designer would be able to easily predict how his decision about architectural modules influences the lighting design, and can consider other alternatives. |
