| Abstract |
This paper aims to investigate the characteristics of partition walls which are lightweighted, dry walls of gypsum boards, These partition walls are prospected to be new ones to cope with M.C.(Modular Coordination), flexibility, non-bearing system, substitution to masonry works. The number of tested partition walls are 16 which are varied with core materials, depth and construction methods. ??These partitions of sound insulation characteristics of lightweighted partitions were tested in reverberation room. And compared with 0.5B??and 1B masonry wall of sound insulation performance, the partitions are evaluated by STC performance. The sound insulation performance of the gypsum board partitions are as good as the performance of masonry wall . |
