| Abstract |
The elementary schools in a large city are over-populated and it is very difficult to find enough estate for new school buildings due to fast raising land value. Therefore, a new type of school, that is, a mini-school, necessarily becomes a plausible candidate as a resolution to such problems that our school environment is facing today. The Ministry of Education supports this idea by proclaiming to study variety of school models to resolve the difficulty of building more schools in Korea. Based on my research, I suggest a“mini-school” to be built within an apartment. A mini-school is a school that covers kindergarten and lower grades of an elementary school. Here, I assume that the kindergarten school should be included in public education program. |
