Abstract |
The functional segregation of urban area and space has been a major principle of urban development and planning up to now. However, there had been many problems such as decline of residential function in CBD and traffic congestion, etc. due to job-housing mismatch. The mixed-use development could be alternatives to remedy these problems. The purpose of this paper is to examine the locational preference of super high-rise mixed-use dwellings in Busan by categorizing the center, subcenter, and particularly focused on the coastal area in terms of household, residential environment, traffic, mixed-use attributes. The followings are the results of this study; It has shown that the variables to denote age, size, dwelling floor, choice reason of housing, evaluation of residential environment, future mobility and commute time are statistically significant. In coastal area, age, size, dwelling floor, evaluation of residential environment have the highest value. In the mixed-use attributes, however, there is no significant variables. It means that mixed-use attributes have not at large influenced on locational preference. |
