This paper analyzed the proposal and activities on public dwellings of Ken Ichiura on after the World War II through, middle 1970s on following aspects.
1. The concrete details on his proposal on public dwellings.
2. The concrete details on practical activities of public dwellings.
The conclusion of this study can be summarized as follows:
1. He emphasized public area and Improvement of the community on housing estate.
2. He proposed "Star House" as standard plan.
3. He had the same priority base of the public (External) space and the personal (Internal) space.
4. He designed and proposed the NPS (New Plan Series). And he makes causeto overcome the standard design. |
