| Abstract |
In Korean architecture, regionalism appeared as a discourse against modern architecture and western world that threaten traditional architecture. But in local architecture it seems to have different levels of meanings, one is locality against the center and the other is regionality which belongs to a certain city or region. The purpose of this study is to find the differences of local cities' regionality discourse from Korean regionality discourse by analysing the articles shown in architectural magazines. Focused on Ideal Architecture, which is a represented local architectural magazine, this study investigated what the local magazine focused on and how it wanted to lead discourse of regionality. |
