Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to find out architectural elements in South-North Times(7c-10c), with no remains. The Bu-do, one kind of monk's stupa, have architectural element??in Tap-sin and Ok-gae and various techniques according to region. Because wooden-architectures are related to region and a model of stone built. The major research findings were as follows: First, The will of Bu-do's manufacture in South-North Times(7c-10c) has nearly connection with the belief of a person. Second, an octagonal-circular(desire) Bu-do is reflected in architecture elements of wooden architecture in those days except for material and size. Third, Gi-dan were classified Yang-cheong and Ga-gu. The rail-style has a little example. Fourth, In wall system, vertical elements have Heul-lim and An-ssol-lim and most of them have Pan-door. There are Gaung-window with stay in partial. Fifth, Ok-gae has much special roof tile (Ba-rae-gi). Already, there was double-eaves in architecture, unique ceiling system, as like Gi-ryun. |
