Abstract The purpose of this study suggests the best roof slopes in Steel House through analyzing of solar radiation. It applied simulation of all heat transmission in a roof after calculating solar radiation differing in roof slopes. Seven types are selected as a study model according to roof slopes and choose a shed roof for a shape. Stage of the degrees are 15o, 20o, 25o, 30o, 35o, 40o, 45o. The results that analyzed seven models by a phoenics program are as follows;
1. It way cause the temperatures to be about 2.54℃ colder by the 45o compered with the 15o. In summer season, the best roof slopes for the lowest indoor vertical temperature appeared with the 45 degrees that indoor temperature was the lowest.
2. The solar radiation in the winter season almost had not influence on a indoor temperature.
3. Conclusively, the best roof slopes which appeared in Steel House were the most suitable at 45 degrees to reduce energy consumption by summer air-conditioning.
