Abstract |
The exterior insulation and finish system was pointed out on faults like a low rigidity, a low adhesion and a low endurable property of contamination. So it is demanded that this faults of the exterior insulation system must be improved for more application to buildings. The purpose of this study was to improve faults of the exterior insulation system, we made dry mortar with calcium carbonate, silica and dry acrylic powder, and used wave-formed EPS insulation board and glass fiber net coated by carbon black for improvement of performance. We tested the usual exterior insulation system and the reformed exterior system to assess performance between two systems. The tests were proceeded with parts of materials and system. The results of this study showed that the reformed exterior insulation system had good qualities of materials (mortar, EPS board, carbon coated glass net), lower heat conductivity and higher partial compressive, flexural, adhesive and impact strength and anti dusty property than usual exterior insulation system. |
