Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the street composition to find out the spatial characteristics of the traditional Korean villages. In doing so, the descriptive analysis of the study is based on the Spatial Analysis Method of Space Syntax. 1) Integrated core of Internal road Type is 'An-Gil'. It shows that the space structure of the traditional Korean is the tree structure and it is mainly showed in the Completion road type 2) Integrated core of Entrance road type is 'Urgue-Gil'. It is mainly showed in the Mixed road type of 'Urguegil' and 'Angil'. 3) Integrated core of External road type is 'Keun-Gil'. It is mainly showed in the Mixed road type of 'Keungil' and 'Urguegil'. 'Keun-Gil' is connected with the rooped 'An-Gil' of internal village which is located disproportionately in the village configuration. According to the correlation of M.Integration with M.Depth of each village, Internal road type is almost showed by the low M.Integration and the deeper spatial structure that M.Depth is high. However, Entrance road and External road type is almost showed by the high M.Integration and the shallow spatial structure that M.Depth is low. |
