| Abstract |
The objective of this study is to investigate the change from 1963 to 2003 in the residential area of the old section, Seongnam City. The old section, Seongnam City is the planned city that has been aimed as a residential purpose in order to solve the housing lack of the Seoul in the 60s. It began to be formed in the early 70s and the residential area was expanded in the 80~90s, and various house types appeared. Thus, it is the city which changed from a farm village to a city for a short period of time. So, the housing shortage and residential environmental problem have been remained after city was formed. It have led to the urban renewal in the 2000s. This study clarifies the changing process and the locational characteristic of the apartment??house which is the most dominant city house type that has been formed in change of urban spatial structure. |
