Abstract |
A construction project is completed through several stages and problems of each stage affect directly not only the now one but also the next, so it has to be evaluated for a project performance through the Life Cycle Process. However, the current performance evaluation method is focused on the partial and tangible performance measurement mainly on costs, time and quality as a result of completing the project, and there is no intangible evaluation which shows how effective it is to supervise for processing a construction production. It is difficult to find out inefficient factors in processing and therefore, it will give a bad influence to the performance. Also, there is no recommended criteria for a performance measurement on construction project life cycle, the current indicators are largely tangible ones and they are various depending on researchers but neither consistent criteria nor indicators. Therefore, this study tries to offer the needs and the new criteria for measuring tangible and intangible performance in a construction project life cycle and the performance measurement methods using this criteria. |
