Abstract |
Till now, the analysis of characteristics on the Korean traditional architecture has been focused on prominent adaptation to a slope site. But a few of Korean traditional architecture is located plane sites and composed of two stories(multi-story). They provide the group of contemporary Korean architects with prominent concept. It is very important for the architectural historians to analyze it because of the meaning of the concept itself. The key building of them is Dae-San-Ru in Sang-ju. ??Dae-San-Ru is being considered as a special architecture-style by architectural historians and the group of contemporary Korean architect. Architectural characteristics, however, could not be analyzed because its building process has not revealed. Therefor, this paper is focused on the building process and architectural characteristics of Dea-San-Ru by ancient literatures which describes it and its present condition. |
