Abstract |
This paper describes a test program on non-eccentricity gap K-joints(12 specimens)??fabricated from SHS compression brace member and chord, tension brace member with connecting plate. To evaluate on the behavior of non-eccentricity gap K-joints, as the principal parameters for test, there are the ratio of chord width to thickness, the ratio of tension and compression brace width to chord width. Based on the results of the test, except for 2 specimens with the ratio of tension bace width to chord width β2>0.8 or the chord width to thickness ratio 2γβ2 decreased the capacity of joints in spite of increasing β and a case of β1<β2. |
