Abstract This study was performed to examine the structure of experience in primary psycho-scenes in memories, by doing an analysis on the experience structure of young people's primary psycho-scenes in playing space. The result of this study is summarized as follows: 1)The playing place was categorized into the urban and natural parts. The urban part was more frequently used as an important playing place during a period of childhood than the natural part. It indicated that the urban area was a major playing place for them. 2)When the playing place based on their ages was examined, it was shown that there was no difference between the natural and urban parts during their early elementary school years(7 to 9 years old), but that they strongly remembered playing in the urban part during the late elementary school years(10 to 14 years old). Generally, the part of playing place was shown to feature such movement as 《Natural Part→Urban Part→Natural Part≫. 3) They remembered most of the playing places as space that gave a pleasure. Then, their definite place included more arranged places than unarranged place. The only place they remembered also tended to be similar to the pleasuring place.
