Abstract Cleaner-prodution is the front-of-pipe technic for preservation of environment and maximization of economical profits, about life cycle of products consisting of input, production, using, recycling, and abolition. It is distinguished from the general environmental technic for the end-of-pipe.
In this thesis, we are introducing the concept and approach of cleaner-production system, investigating the present states of pollutants originated from the plants of cement-based concrete products by diagnosis, studing and appling the methods to diminish pollutants. From the diagnosis about 5 sub-processes, it is generating many pollutants such as waste water, air pollutions, waste concrete, dust, and etc, and the volume of them also is enormous.
From the application of cleaner-production system, we had gained various effects such as remarkably decreasing the volume of pollutants and producing cost of products, and lowering quality variation of products to 12.7%. There are various types of concrete plants today, but they have similar to plant targeted in this study. Therefore, we hope to cleaner-production system spread widely for the various types of plants of cement-based concrete products
