Abstract Museums have many functions to its structure. Zoning theory of Museum spaces is generally applied and is divided into 6 or 7 zones in Korea; exhibition, collection storage, visitor service, education, administration, curatorial and technical support. The purpose of this study is in making new space zoning through the case study. The aim for new space zoning is to let the architect acknowledge the exact zoning and design in museums. Spaces in a museum are largely divided into 15 parts and divided into [Public /Non-Public] and [Collection /Non-Collection] by zoning theory of Gail D. Lord & Barry Lord. Each area is as follows; ?Public / Collection : Exhibition ?Public / Non-Collection : Visitor services, Theatre, Education, Shop & Restaurants, Children's Museum, ?Non-Public / Collection : Collection Storage, Loading Deck, Curatorial, Workshops ?Non-Public / Non-Collection : Administration, Security, Staff services, Technical Support ??Indoor Parking lots
