| Abstract |
Although there is a current boom in the construction of super-high-rise apartments, it has been found that no study has been performed on the market's specific demands regarding the preference for super- high-rise apartments, as compared to high-rise apartments. Therefore, this study aims to compare and analyze the differences between recently constructed high-rise apartments and super-high-rise apartments regarding general characteristics and purchasing considerations. The subjects of the analysis were super-high-rise apartments with at least 40 stories and high-rise apartments with 16 to 29 stories locatedin Seoul and occupied since 2000. The questionnairesurveys targeted real estate agencies and those who have extensive experience in the industry, especially in the areas of real estate sales and rental. To effectively infuse the preferences of the market in the super- high-rise apartment construction planning, it is important to carefully consider the different purchase factors for super-high-rise apartments found in this study. |
