Abstract |
Steel shear panel??systems effectively can be resisted lateral forces induced by wind and earthquake due to high in-plane shear stiffness. The perceived advantages of steel shear panel are a large plastic energy absorption capapcity as well as the post-buckling strength after the elastic buckling. he objective of this research is to evaluate the structural characteristics of steel shear panels through the experimental test.??In order to do this, total ten steel shear panels were manufactured with the width- thickness raitos (50, 67, 75, 100, 133, 150, 200, 300) and aspect ratios (1.0, 1.5), we evaluated the loading and measuring method, ultimate strength, shear buckling strength, failure mode, variation of stiffness and deformation capapcity. |
