The historical background, compositional characteristics and the unique spaces of Ssangpok Checkulri were analyzed, color, place, relationship, direction, multiple vanishing points, folding screen constituent movement of viewpoints became the focuses of the analysis. After constructing the analytic drawings, the findings were experimented in the design of three dimensional spaces to apply the particular spatial characteristics of the painting. Such design development has resulted in the criteria for the program and the site : an observatory was proposed and designed, to be built on sea.
