Abstract |
As a boundary, Han-river has divided Seoul into two parts. The south area has been developed remarkably for the past 30 years. On the other hand, the northern areas have been fallen behind. This is the biggest problem of Seoul at present, and, there are many factors of making the disparity. We noticed a major reason of this matter is a different dwelling type one another because of regional characteristics. In the late 1960s, old residences and royal palace were occupying most flat side in the northern areas, so, hillside was developed disorderly. This study seeks to find an answer for solving these problems of hillside in the northern areas, especially, hillside apartment. We researched 3 apartment of those days. One of them was an unknown housing, Sky apartment, but, the others were well-known housing, Si-min and Si-bum apartment. In result, could find a position of Sky apartment as non-government housing in different with government housing like Si-min, Si-bum. And, would try to simply suggested new types of hillside housing. |
