Abstract |
As facilities are growing airtight because of the curtailment of energy and skyscraperlization, resulting to the lack of ventilation inside facilities and the increasing diffusion of interior material using multi- chemicals, deepening the pollution in indoor air conditions. Volatile organic compounds and formaldehyde emitted from construction finishing materials have big influence on air pollution of the interior. Construction finishing materials are mostly used together with adhesives or other materials rather than they are used alone. This paper has carried out an experiment to investigate emission from construction materials, focusing on wallpaper and PVC floor plates that are used as finishing materials for bedrooms.??Based on the change of emission of the five cases by time and the emission rate of each individual VOC, this paper compared and analyzed the emission characteristics between single material and composite material. To compare the data of construction materials with the result from the application to prediction-equation,?? investigated the emission characteristics of constructed the apartment with the change of time and compared the end result with our prediction. |
