Abstract |
This paper focused on the basic research data about optimum design factor through thermal performance analysis of overhangs which control solar radiation and sunshine from window, one of important components in buildings. For this study, TRNSYS, a commercial program, is used for simulation analysis which has variables, such as lengths of a overhang's projection, its gap between a window and the overhang, and its extension. As a result, in the fixed window area ratio, it was found that it was most affected by the projection's length, and this was related to the gap's. Moreover, it was rarely by the extension's out of a certain range. |
