Abstract |
The subject of this study was to evaluate the cooling thermal comforts by the air conditioning systems in office building. Particularly, the variance of cooling thermal comforts was analyzed according to the low-partition existence in office area. For the purpose of this study, four air conditioning systems(air handling unit system, ceiling type heat pump system, fan coil unit system, and packaged air conditioning system) were applied. And then PHOENICS program was used for numerical analysis. In this study we have a result as follows; First, this study shows that an installation of low-partition results negative effects which increase room temperature. Second, the cooling effect decrease because of the installation of low-partition in ceiling diffusing system such as air handling unit system and ceiling type heat pump system. In addition, it has no effect on fan coil unit system, and it is better to adapt the packaged air conditioning system. Third, ADPI shows more than 80% in a ceiling type heat pump system and air handling unit system, more than 70% in a fan coil unit system, and more than 50% in a packaged air conditioning system. |
