Abstract In order to use in the middle or small size buildings, the Bottle Neck TSC beam is developed and it is to reduce the thickness of plate and the depth of beam. Test parameters are pitch of shear connector, arrangement of deformed bars in the slab, plate thickness of Bottle Neck TSC beam and quantity of tensile deformed bar.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate flexural behaviour and ductility of Bottle Neck TSC beam(TSC Ⅲ). All specimen's load-displacement curves are stable and composite actions of slabs and steel beam estimate bond strength of bolts, deformed bars and steel beam in slab. Deformability of Bottle Neck TSC beams are showed compare with an increase plate thickness and depth of beam.
