| Abstract |
This study aims to analyze the redevelopment strategies for Perth's central business districts (CBD), and to suggest some lessons under consideration of the Korean urban situation. The contents of this study are consisted of following four sections. In the first section, the preceding researches of home and abroad regarding revitalization of the CBD are reviewed as a theoretical review. In the second section, the development character of Perth and problems of CBD according to the development period are studied. In the third section, the strategies and policies for CBD redevelopment of Perth focused on urban spatial shifting, residence and institutions are analyzed. As a conclusion, the planned or implemented strategies and policies for CBD redevelopment are organized and the some lessons for CBD revitalization in the future are suggested. |
