| Abstract |
This paper aims to propose the sustainable design process and strategies of the water system which is suitable for the environmental conditions of Jeju. Main concepts of sustainable water system are conservation of water resources, minimizing environment pollution, and natural harmony in water space. The rain water system integrated with greywater and biotopes could be proposed as a sustainable water system in jeju. It would be an alternative water source and promote conservation of ground water reducing the damages from storms and environmental pollution. The case study was conducted to investigate the efficiency and feasibility of the proposed design process in Jeju Island. |
