Abstract A proper selection of form work system is very crucial factor in order to perform high-rise building construction project successfully. However, there is not systematic research about of the system selection in Korea. The purpose of this paper is to select form work system suitable for domestic construction situation through systematic valuation. Furthermore, extracted primary factors by analysis describe direction of future development for the system. In this study, two hierarchies on the basis of cost and benefit were organized, and their weights were calculated by analytic hierarchy process(AHP). And benefit/cost analysis measures priorities of five alternative system, domestic and imported table form, domestic and imported aluminum form, and conventional wood system. Consequently, at the point of view in a long run, domestic table form is the most favorable while aluminum forms are employed mostly at present.
