Title Analysis of Workload in Steel Partition Work Using OWAS Method

Abstract This paper discussed on the estimation of physical workload in building construction site. Fifteen working postures were made by the combination of the state of the waist and knees.
Ovako Working Posture System (OWAS) is applied for the method of postural analysis and action categories classification. Corrective measures to improve the working postures were computed using the action categories. the authors analysed working postures in steel partition works, and the computation of the corrective measures was carried out based on those data. The awkward working posture in the works were evaluated, and it was clarified that the method applicable to estimate physical workload in building works.
