| Abstract |
Recently, there is a tendency that construction companies need to have new high-technologies because domestic and oversees' environment changes. Companies that do not have any high-tech construction technologies can survive no more. So, it is natural that most of the international construction companies have highly interested in technology development. And, Korean government also suggested related regulations and policies of technology development. One of them is the system of Excellent Construction Technology Evaluation in Construction Technology Management Law.
In this research, we analyzed the related assignment data and application data of new technology for the performance results analysis of new technology evaluating system. And this research made questions for new technology developers, owners and members of consultants, and investigated the situations and problems of new technology evaluation. As a result of investigation, new technology evaluation system became a stable stage because new technology evaluation system has assigned about 433 and also applied more than 20,000 times in construction sites in 2004.
However, it was indicated to a large problem that owner has refused to use new technologies in construction site. And it was investigated that the assignment process and estimate standard of new technology were insufficient to determine whether it is useful to construction sites or not.
Therefore, we suggested to enhance the pilot construction system, post-evaluation system and the estimate standard which is to intensify the practical use of new technologies in construction sites. This research not only analyzed the system status of KICTTEP(Korea Institute of Construction & Transportation Technology Evaluation and Planning) for carrying out Excellent Construction Technology Evaluation but also suggested a improved plan of new technology application system to increase the new technology site application. |
