Abstract There are no reliable anthropometric data on structural and functional measurements for wheelchair users in Korea. Therefore we adapt anthropometric dimensions from foreign countries. According to Bradtmiller(2003), researches on them have been recently completed in the United States, Australia, U.K, Canada, but those suffer from several important limitations: User groups, measurement methods, and research environments vary from one study to the next, which makes difficult to compare their results. Hence, the purpose of this study is to measure Korean wheelchair users anthropometry by digital human modeling tools, and to establish basic dimension for them in architectural designs.
