| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to read out the value-changing on orientation and view by analyzing the apartment layout. The results of this study are applicable to set up the guideline for the designing apartment to build at waterfront. and to read out the value of orientation and view in recently. Moreover it is able to be used for basic data for improving the scene and image control of the city. To get the goal, the study has been performed as follows. Firstly, sampling of cases : The case of this study is 65 and is located at river-front of Shin-Chon. Secondly, categorizing the cases : the cases have been categorized by its location and visibility : front-site, rear-site, east-side, west-side, visible cases, invisible cases. Thirdly, It has been surveyed the layout, orientation and view axis, the day of completion etc, of the cases. The results of this study are as follow ; Firstly The value of orientation has not been changed but, that of view has been changed gradually from past to now. So it is necessary to develop a new plan type for solving the orientation and view at the same time. Secondly, until 2003, the layout of buildings had been focused on only orientation or view, but from then to now, it to the both. it means that if the width of the river is so narrow to view the enough water surface , and the site condition is not possible to satisfy the orientation and view need, a diagonal building layout to axis of flowing stream is more desirable design technique. Thirdly, as far form river, the value of view decreased gradually, but the value of orientation show regularity. That is to say that the building located in front-site show the higher level of view value than that of rear-site. Fourth, the buildings located in west-front site show view-focused layout such as east orientation, the other hand, ones of east-front site show various orientation. Fifth, orientation is a thing that is not rely on the site location, must be the not best but better, and must be solved, the other hand, view is a thing that is affected on the existence of view target, must be the best as possible as, and can be considered as option. |
