Abstract |
In traditional wooden structures, it is not simple work to establish the performance criteria due to the properties of the framework leading to weak mechanical capacity of connections. Therefore, it is going to make the optimal design technique of tradition wooden structure architecture link to business through engineering verification in this research. The wooden structure analysis considers the behavior characteristics of the beam-to-column connection which is the most difficult point, it is going to show a tradition beam-to-column connection plan for a performance improvement. The flexural performance improvement of the beam-to-column connection and the member continuity in the connection part are set as the research main objects. The purpose of this study is to develope the improved wooden structure system which is able to construct multi-story and to expand various plane configuration by improving traditional beam-to-column connection system. Connection rigidity was compared using the numerical analysis model to the selected member which can be predicted on a performance and a safety check of this. The improved beam-to-column connection through this research showed the superiority of semi-rigid performance. When the developed connections are applied to the analysis model the structure is stable for the perpendicular and horizontal force and has the continuity of the perpendicular and horizontal direction. The wooden structures which identify the traditional architecture shows possibility of shape development - various plane configuration and multi-story structure. |
