Abstract |
The buildings constructed with steel structure is coated with certified fire resistive material to resist from fire. All the building materials lose their initial performances as time passes, so they need some maintenance. The SFRM(Sprayed Fire Resistive Material) also loses its performance and this performance loss of the SFRM is very important because fire resistance of buildings depends on SFRM. So this study tried to evaluate effect of 2 types SFRM, gypsum and vermiculite, by environmental temperature and relative humidity as basic factors of performance change, tested in air temperature -20, 20, 40℃ with RH 50% fixed and in RH 30, 60, 90% with 20℃ fixed. The result as follows. As for the density and density loss rate of SFRM, gypsum type was higher. As for the change of density between in the different conditions SFRM in the high humidity condition were high and density loss rates were low, but they were similar in 20~40℃, RH~30~60% conditions. The adhesive strengths of SFRM in the high humidity conditions were low but they were all high in 20~40℃, RH~30~60% conditions. Between the Density and the fire resistance of SFRM, there were in direct proportion each other with high correlation and the adhesive strengths were in inverse proportion to the fire resistance. |
