Abstract The purpose of this paper is to propose the Digital Transformation Method as a new design method. First, this paper analyzes the characteristic and the relation between Transformation Process and Form Creation Language of Peter Eisenman's and Greg Lynn's works. Based on the analysis, despite their different methods, this study demonstrates they both use the Digital Transformation Method as a tool leading to architectural form from their creative idea.
Thus, it means the Digital Transformation Method can be a useful method to realize architects' intention as well as their conceptual idea. In addition, it implies the method is a useful tool to create architectural form by unexpected run of computer program. Further, such a form creating process contributes to non-formal architecture reflecting the indeterminate and uncertain phases of the contemporary culture.
